Tying the knot?
MARRIAGE CEREMONIES bring me joy. And I'm particularly grateful to get to experience them through the lens of photography, to be entrusted to document the day.
Photographers are the people you will wind up spending the most time with during your wedding day, and it's important to me that you feel happy and completely at ease with me. I will be as unintrusive or as intrusive as you ask me to, either helping pose you or standing back, but always with the intent to document your love in the most authentic manner possible, so that when you look back at pictures what you see is you.
PHOTOGRAPHERS are the people you'll spend the most time with on your wedding day, which is why it matters to me that you feel genuinely comfortable in my presence. I want you to feel like yourself, so you can settle into the day and and stay in the moment as it unfolds.
My approach is flexible and intuitive. Sometimes that means offering quiet guidance when it's helpful. Other times it means stepping back entirely and letting things happen as they will. This is largely determined by the conversations you have before hand, but I'm always paying attention to the energy in the room and adjusting in ways that feel natural rather than directive.
Above all, my intention is to document your relationship as it actually exists. When you look back at your photographs (tomorrow or years from now), I want what you see to feel honest and recognizably yours. A true reflection of who you are one of the days that most matters.
The Wedding Experience
Every wedding I photograph receives the same level of care and attention, from the moment I arrive on the day itself to the final delivery of your gallery. My role is to observe closely, work thoughtfully, and create a record of the day that feels cohesive, intentional, and true to who you are.
Connection Call
We begin with a conversation. This is a chance for me to learn about you, how you envision your wedding, and what matters most to you. It’s also an opportunity to see if we’re the right fit—comfort and trust are essential to the process.
Engagement Session
The engagement session is scheduled early on and serves as a natural introduction to working together. It allows you to become familiar with my approach and to experience what it feels like to be photographed in a way that’s relaxed and unforced.
Your Wedding Day
On the wedding day itself, I’m a steady, unobtrusive presence. I step in when guidance is helpful and step back when moments are best left uninterrupted, always focused on documenting the day as it actually unfolds rather than directing it.
Preview Images
Within a couple of days of your wedding, you’ll receive a small selection of preview images—an early look at the story we’ve begun to tell while everything is still fresh.
Timeline Guidance
I’m happy to offer guidance as you shape your wedding day timeline, particularly when it comes to light, pacing, and building in space for moments to happen naturally rather than feeling rushed.
Gallery Delivery
Your full gallery is delivered approximately eight weeks after your wedding. Many couples choose to sit down together and experience it all at once, revisiting the day quietly and without distraction.
